The last week has been picturesque and amazing travelling through the Inner Passage and Johnstone Strait on our way to the Broughton Islands. Orcas approached the boat and dove under us at 15 feet.

Going through the Dent Rapids we were watched by a thousand eyes!! A bit creepy as if they are waiting to see if you make it through or become dinner. We have learned since our travel through the rapid that they wait for low tide and the Hake -whose bellies float them to the top of the rapids and then dining begins.

Man has ensured their presence is known though, as noted by the signs hanging in the bay before Green Pointe Rapids. Not sure how some of them got so high.
